Who
is Gardner Building Services?
Founded in 1994 by Joe and Coleen Gardner, the company is based on a basic
belief Joe developed during his prior 15 years of experience in the commercial
janitorial service industry. We believe we are our customer’s partners.
Our success is tied directly to how happy our customer’s tenants
are with our service. We exist to provide consistent high quality service
to our Customers. We strive to provide a safe, quality work environment
for our employees.
By keeping the customer first, our employees second, and the profits third
we have become successful in building a company of satisfied, long-term
customers.
The company is owned by Coleen Gardner and managed by Joe Gardner. During
Joe’s now 20 years in the industry he has had the pleasure to work
for National Cleaning Contractors, American Building Maintenance Company,
and International Service Systems. Experience as an Account Executive,
Assistant Branch Manager, Branch Manager, and Regional Sales Manager have
been the result of proven career achievement. Additionally he has served
as a Trustee for S.E.I.U. Local 679 Health and Welfare Pension Fund, as
a member of the Board of Directors of B.O.M.A. Atlanta, and is currently
involved in a number of civic organizations.
Gardner Building Services is not the "perfect" janitorial services
company, no one is. But that is our goal. We take pride in being responsive.
When a problem arises we correct it quickly and strive to add that experience
to the knowledge we need to near perfection.
We also want to build a Partnership with our customers. Research has shown
janitorial problems are second only to H.V.A.C. in the number of complaints
from tenants. By meeting each tenant initially and having regular monthly
contact with these tenants, we have found we can proactively lessen the
number of calls. We are not a company that only shows up when there is
a problem.
